Sellers ads (Craigslist, etc)

I love it when I see ads (Craigslist, etc) that state, "I will not sell it to anyone who plans on reselling it"

Overall... Who cares?? if the person gets the price they want, what do they care what the person does with the item/s.

any opinions?

I'm guessing whoever is selling probably has an emotional attachment to the item and wants to see it loved and cherished and not go to someone looking to flip it. Just my take on it.

I figured that one. My golden rule in this business. don't get to emotionally attached to anything otherwise you'll never have any money!

I don't like to sell toys to other people to resell, that's my thing. Especially when I've bought them to sell myself. Other stuff, I really do not care. I had a yard sale recently and sold a bunch of stuff to people who were clearly dealers and resellers. You can tell them from a mile away.

What I REALLY do not like are people who are not honest about it and lie to get it at the cheap price that allows them to make a profit. "It's for my son" and nonsense like that.

I've noticed since I've had my yard sales a LOT more people are going to them looking for stuff to resell and it's hysterical when they act as if they found gold, when you know it's worth nothing.

I sold a bunch of toys at my last one, beater He-Man figures and stuff like that. One guy buys tons of them and tells me he's not a reseller. If he is, he cannot be a very good one, lol.
