    Favorite Christmas Gift

Whats your favorite christmas gift that you got when you were a kid that you still have and could never get rid of no matter what? Doesn't have to be one thing.
Besides some Star Wars stuff I would have to say my Dragonriders playset that I got for christmas in 1982 is something I could never ever get rid of.

dont have none of my childhood stuff unfortunately. im actively trying to get some of it back and it might take years to complete (just copies of course, not the actual items.)
probably the only the close is my drawing table that has tons of books covering it up

I got this for Christmas in 1976 at age 11. It's still in perfect shape too.

Twelve inch Boba Fett. I still have him all minty in his original but well worn box. He still has wookie scalps too. I couldn't imagine a scenario where I'd part with him.

Notice how I refer to an action figure as a person? Is that strange?

No toys survived my destructive childhood or the carport sales that followed, but there is this little plastic angle Christmas ornament that is made to look like it's stained glass. It came in a package of 3, and I picked it out at a drugstore when I was 4 years old.

Only one has survived. But it's one of my favorite things to see when I see my mom and dad's Christmas tree each year.

                  Easy..:

1968: C/A Action Boy, with Aqualad costume set.

1969: Major Matt Mason Cannon and new MMM figures.

1972: GI Joe AT Headquarters (never had any vehicles, so my guy's had to walk around for years. Good cardio, I guess.., but hardly exciting with all the commercials screaming about the helicopter and ATV..).

1975: Sorry Mego Green Arrow, my new AMT Space:1999 Eagle model RULED..!!

1996: Masterpiece Edition GI Joe Astronaut from FAO Schwartz, delivered to my side door under the glistening snow flurries late at night Christmas Eve.

2000 and 2008: New Guitar Amps (my wife actually scored huge with these..).
                  Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

Well, mostly it was dolls, and I won't bore you guys w/ that, but one year, I think I was 4 or 5, my older brother saved up his money and got me the first Talking View-Master gift set. I used it so much, the motor died. A few years back, I found a pristine set on Ebay. He go a kick outta that when I showed it to him.

Easily my Mattel Space 1999 Eagle, but there are many GI Jo gifts that are a close second.
