    Muppets, Anyone?

Haven't seen anyone post on the Movie, so thought I would. I took both kids to see this today and I scored big time Dad points! My daughter loved it completely! My son, got a bit tired, but made it through. It was like one big long Muppet show and was much fun to watch. Jason Seigel treated the characters right with his script in bringing Kermit & Co back!
    It's all good!

I've seen it twice. My boys and I really love the Muppets so I was pumped to take them. I thought it was a great bit of nostalgia. I would have liked a little more cornball humor, but thought they did a great job with all of the characters. My only other minor quibble was tbe voices of Miss Piggy abd to a, lesser extent Fozzie were a little off. It was still a great treat to see these guys treated so lovingly on the big screen again.

        I loved it,
it was so funny since Jason Segal is the main guy involved in production,
I fell in love with the last act with the chickens and i loved Jack Black in it

I've not seen it yet but heard it's very good. I read they treated the Muppets with respect and didn't go for crass humor like with the Smurfs movie.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

If you stared at the TV Muppet screen in the 70s, then this movie is for you.
I am already planning my second viewing!!

Wow was that a great experience. Saw it tonight with my wife and her mom and my mom. My wife balled her eyes out when kermit busted out the banjo. Bry said it best. If you watched it as a kid, you must see it. I loved every minute of it and turned into an 8 year old again.

Watched this last weekend, thought I'd bump the topic. Like many here I grew up with the beloved Muppet Show.. when Henson died, I had a disconnect. Kermit would never sound "right" to me again, I ignored the great Palisades toy line, etc.

But this movie took me back to a lot of those great muppet feelings, and I really enjoyed it. I did miss Frank Oz, and I was disappointed (and dumbfounded) to read why he (and other Muppet originals) were down on the film..
