    WWE Survivor Series

OK...you know I'm a typical John Cena hater...but yesterday night...I actually felt bad for the guy.

I have never in my life...seen a "face" get booed so much...I mean...he was getting hatred...pure hatred...the crowd was going absolutely nuts for the Rock (and Zack Ryder as well, lol)...and when the Rock finally rock-bottomed him...the crowd went bonkers...

After the rock-bottom by the Rock...Cena crawled hopelessly out of the ring...it was without a doubt...Cena's worst performance ever.

Look, as much as I've disliked Cena in the past...he has done a lot for the WWE...and made the company a ton of money...Cena deserves better.

Cena's fall from grace from fan support (unless you are a kid)...is due to the super good guy persona (and same 'ol boring shtick)...and I think fans are sick of it...plus he will never match the Rock in popularity.

But you guys remember how Hulk Hogan's career was revived?

By making him a villain at WCW...

I think it would be a stroke of genius if John Cena were made into a villain...that would get him back on track...and I predict he will be as popular as ever as a "heel"...at least for a while...just to test the waters...then down the line...bring him back as a "face" once again.

I'm all for a thug John Cena...

Agreed....A heel Cena would be great but it HAS to have a great story behind it. Hogan had the NWO etc. Cena needs to lead a posse too.

I've never like Cena. It was interesting to see the crowds reaction to Rock/Cena because it was very similar to how the crowd reacted when Hollywood Hogan came back vs the Rock.

The crowd goes with the oldtime legend every time. While I wanted Hulk to beat Rock so bad, I knew Rock winning made more sense. The fans love Rock.

But Cena beating Rock? Especially after survivor series, doesn't make any sense. People hate Cena and love Rock. I think Rock could come back and dominate today's generation. He hasn't lost a step.

The Rock's one of the most popular wrestlers of all time....till this day i've never heard a louder crowd then when he came out in Miami a few years back and that was during Stone cold and HHH heyday , so it doesn't surprise me..

I do agree that it's time they change cena's gimmick a little bit

Anyone Today in the WWE Would Get Boo'ed to No Ends , with the Frick'in Rock in the Other Corner. I mean, Come On Man ..., That's The Rock.

I could see Cena as a good heel. The badder the better. I never liked his gimmick but as a athelete hes fantastic. A turn would do he alot of good at this point.

If he's such a bad actor, why does he have all of those fans cheering for him?

A heel turn for Cena can be good, but this loss to the Rock wouldn't be the catalyst. He took the loss gracefully. Had he come after the Rock after a fake handshake or even worse gotten over the Rock in the match in grand heel style, then you would get the epic heel turn. Not saying a turn would never happen, just not the way it looks like it's going.

I do agree, if the turn is done right it can be good, but it would kill his sales and he is top two in merchandise sales. WWE isn't gonna walk away from that.

When Hogan went "heel" in the WCW, it was a mixture of factions and people picked a side. NWO Merchandiswe went nuts. The same wouldn't happen for Cena. Not with a straight heel turn.

Just my two cents....keep the change.

Because he use to be a Very Very GOOD wrestler who onced owned......his movies suck! When you see his movies you don't see the part he's playing you see the Rock doing a movie. he has the same problems Elvis and Madonna had, too big of a real life personality that stands out in movies.......most people can't even remember the name of the characters he plays.

But the Cena booing has progressively been present way before the Rock ever came to the scene...it's been brewing for a while...and now with the Rock here...it has multiplied ten fold.

Hector i couldn't agree with you more. I found myself feeling sorry for cena. I would have loved to see him do the switch last night and join Miz and Truth and beat the Rock down. For him to turn it has to be a massive screw job over a huge face.
