    Does anybody else...

...sleep in their childhood bed and use sheets they had as a kid? And I'm asking the older folks, not the younger ones. At least I can sleep on the top bunk now. My older brother had the top bunk when we were kids. I still have some of my sheets from when I was a kid that I use regularly and they have bright color and are in great shape. They held up really great. My kids used the sheets and beds when they were growing up, too. But sheets they got when they were kids fell apart long ago. Tells you something about the quality of stuff from the '70's as opposed to the '90's.
So, anybody else have their old bed and still use it?

My daughter uses her mom's old brass bed, and my wife and myself sleep in an iron frame bed from way back in the family.
    does that count?

Well, I do sleep in a twin bed, and I do use some kid's sheet sets like Spider-Man and Batman . and I did buy an old set of Star Trek sheets, but the elastic is wearing out on the fitted sheet. But I don't have any of the sheets I had a as kid.

Mine usually get wrecked within a few years. My stepdad has a set of the '78 Star Wars sheets set up in the guest room at my folks' place. (AND superhero wallpaper.)

I had some Star Wars sheets that my mom made into curtains for my room when I was a kid. I still have them. The pillow cases from that set still get used to this day in my house... They are in the rotation.

I think alot of stuff was just made better in general back in the seventies. The technology may not be as good but there was some quality on many things including furnature and clothes. Mass produced stuff now.
