Think I'm too honest to be a toy deal

I had a garage sale today. A lot of what I have in my sales thread was put out. It was both laugh-out-loud amusing and irritating at the same time the tactics dealers play. From the playing stupid act, to the trying to become your best friend and patronizing, to the "my son/kids" nonsense...

I got swarmed early in the morning and I think I let one confuse me into letting a good amount of stuff go for nothing.

BTW: I REALLY hate having my intelligence insulted.

i was willing to get rid of this old thing so much for that extra 2 bucks, i played with a kid for 20 minutes just to get it out but i really don't care, it was only 2 bucks and i had nothing better to do

i dont think i would have the patience to be a toy dealer. its to frustrating to sell for what stuff should be worth but still give good deals.

I had a huge garage sale last weekend as well with the remains of my toy collection from a few years ago. I messed up and put "Star Wars" in my ad. They were beating down my door. I did make about $400 on just the toys I had left, mostly new in package, most $3 or less.

I still can't get over the yard saler who picks through your kids outgrown clothes making a complete mess of it....finds one item priced at $.50 and then asks if I will take $.25 for it

I had one guy go through my daughters' winter jackets that were $1 each. He counts them (15) and ask if I would take $5. I said $7 because it was near the end of the day. He breaks out a roll of nothing but $100 bills (had to be $3000) and ask if I had change.
