If it's the thread I am thinking of then I asked about those friers then too. I am just interested to hear feedback from someone that has actually used one. I have used the propane fired deep fryer method but it's more work then I care to do plus it is usually pretty cold around here so if there was a better method of cooking one (indoors) then I would have more interest. If those indoor units work well I would probably get one. I just don't want to spend $100 and find out it doesn't do the job.

^^ The fryer used in this video is one of the propane tank type.
I think your question is whether or not someone has experience with frying a turkey in something other than a propane fired deep fry pot???Comment

Yes. The one I put up the link to is an electric deep fryer marketed for turkey frying. They are sold under the Masterbuilt and Butterball brands from what I have seen. I even watched part of an infomercial on it. If it works well I would much rather use that then the propane style that I tried.

ah yes. I missed the link. I was continuing on thinking we were discussing the propane fryer as was shown in the Shatner video.
And speaking of the Shat video, I am going to jump off of this hijack now and just leave it with my praise for this crazy-fun PSA.
