    Real life "Storage Wars"..

    Talk about a score!

Does anyone here ever known anyone that has bid on a storage unit and scored something rare and valuable?

I don't know anyone who has ever placed a bid on a storage unit.

Sounds strange...I wonder why someone would choose to place something of that value in a storage unit rather than safe deposit boxes at a bank? I'm pretty sure you can keep it private if anonymity is an issue and the bank employees allow you to store and unstore items privately (they have no idea what is even in there).

maybe they wanted access to thier items in private without the "hassle of a safety deposit. Also if the item is bulky and the owner was cheap they may not have wanted to pay for vault storage, they may not know the value of what they have, or perhaps there is some illicit reason for the valuable they didn't want to use a bank for.

Barry is the best on the show,he reminds me of Jack Nicholson with his beaming smile.

I have bid on a few and know storage hunters who call me when they think they find something good... rare but it happens
