Anyone else watch the premiere?
Reality show following someone who is trying to turn full contact jousting into a mainstream sport.
They had back to back one hour episodes but honestly could only handle one episode. I do appreciate that you have to be tough as nails and half crazy to even enter the sport but found the jousting pretty boring after a few rounds. The main character apparently has sunk his life savings into this and hopes to fill arenas instead of renaissance festivals. Personal danger doesn't necessarily translate into a good spectator sport and do appreciate the passion, just don't think this it is going to catch on anytime soon. I have seen some of the staged jousting and although enjoyable, not something I would go out of my way to see by itself or watch on tv.
