    Toys for Tots?

Would these be considered acceptable or not?

I'm sure they would be accepted, but I don't think many kids would want those.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

      Yeah, lol. My thoughts exactly.

I think I'll give the Star Wars ones and then take the others to goodwill.

Hand them all in. They are supposed to be unwrapped anyway. I didn't grow up in a family that had much money but my parents never had to look go to Toys for Tots for anything. I know I would have appreciated any of those items as a kid. I had lot's of hand me down toys, bikes, etc. that I loved and cherished. Funny that I still have a 1940's Lionel Train that was re-gifted to me, a 1950's Schwinn Sting Ray, and some previously used 1950's matchbox cars among other things. My parents held onto them when I went off to college because my parents knew I loved these items. I didn't know anything about the collectibles market for this type of stuff when I was a kid, played with them as a kid, and kept them for sentimental reasons. Most of the 3 items have some value (they were well loved so not in the best of shape) but they aren't for sale. I'm sure these toys will be ripped from their packages with delight and used as toys as they were meant to be...not sitting mint on card. I don't think a kid who literally receives nothing for Christmas is going to turn their nose up to any toy.

Y'know, sadly for a lot of these kids, Toys for Tots and other toy drives are the only Christmas these less fortunate kids are gonna get. They don't really care if it's not the coolest and latest toy, they just want something under the tree, (if they have one), to play with that has their name on it. Even Santa needs a little help. I'm giving 2 dolls, and 2 kitbashed custom figures to the toy drive our school donates to every year. Just give, and light up a kid's Christmas this year.

That's what my dad told me. "They will just be happy it's a toy". I don't think they care who/what the toy is, they use their imaginations anyway.

These just came in a lot I purchased for other items. I didn't specifically buy them.

I will give all in this case.

I would LOVE all of those! Living in Mexico...It SUCKS! Figures are 4 times what they are in the states. Star Wars figures single packs are eighteen dollars...So heck yes I would want those.

All these toy bloggers get FREE toys sent to them all the time while I run the coolest Monster themed restaurant in the world and get zilch. I would absolutely love it if someone sent me free figures...

                  Unfrigginbelievable.

Den82 is offering his toys to needy children...not to decorate your place of business...I mean...this is for Toys for Tots for Christ's sakes...not toy bloggers...what nerve.

Stop playing the victim as well...you already did it in Sandy's Halloween costume contest giveaway thread...and now this.

...and for the love of almighty God...could you just post once without mentioning your restaurant...you sound like a broken record...give it a rest already.

                      Well said.

I have donated Toys for Tots in the past...I have a few things that I will donate again...plus I'm thinking of getting a few extra new toys for them as well...that's been my motto during the Christmas season...to give...not to receive.

I do as well. It is a great feeling to know that your toys will be loved, cherished, and appreciated. Most importantly, they will be played with as they should be and not sitting in a rubbermaid bin.

Um....Nah....I speak words of truth. Have you seen the place? I notice you haven´t said it looks cool or anything of the sort...Therefore your argument is invalid.
