If you are into preformed pork slathered in swill. :P I really can't bring myself to spend money at McD's or any of the other chains that cost me 8 bucks or so to eat.

Not that I eat at McD's but you can eat a full meal there for far less than $8.......

Yes...when I go to McDonald's...most of the times I order two McDoubles...one medium fries, and one large soda...and it comes to a whopping $5+...lol.

Also...a Mini Meal can be enough for a temporary filler up...sometimes my big butt only orders a Double Cheeseburger Mini Meal (small fries and small soda)...and it's only $3...not exactly braking your bank...

last time My wife and I were there it was in the neighborhood of 16 bucks for two meals, so I guess FLA is charging more. All the breakfast meals are around 5 bucks or so. The only price war competition here is Wendy's and BK. Of those two Wendy's is insanely priced for a meal. On the bright side Five Guys opened up and is wall to wall people. I don't really have a problem paying a bit more there for a fresh cooked burger and fries instead of microwaved like at the big chains.

Don't get me wrong...I'd rather go to Five Guys myself and have no problem paying a lot more either...I'm just comparing the cheapie burger joints...and find McDonald's the best choice for me...since I don't like Wendy's or Burger King...Burger King burgers are a lot bigger than McDonald's...but they taste like gas fuel to me...must be that flame broil machinery they cook them in with.

That's why I prefer In N Out...they are fresh and a healthier burger...but I have to drive across Oakland...for there's only one In N Out in my city...and it's always packed...and they are cheaper than Five Guys.

Five Guys is slowly moving into California...and its intention is to compete with In N Out...

used to like Wendy's till they got all upity with artisan buns and all that crap. Plus they got rid of the good fries. No In and Outs in FLA, so just Five Guys. Red Robin is making a play for Tampa and we are getting a Krystal Burger this year. Fun fact, the McRib is responsible for inducing labor in my overdue sister in law resulting in my niece Ashley.
