Hey Gang,
Hot Toys' Arnie Kim has changed the head sculpt of the Chris Reeve\Superman 1/6 Action figure due to fan dislike. Although i was digging the first head sculpt...i'm rather more stoked about the second one (pictured on the right). The 2nd head sculpt really captures Reeve so much it looks life like, it's eerie (akin to a photo shoot for the 1978 Superman movie). The only thing that i'm not feeling is the eyes looking upward. However, that could be fixed via a modification to the eyes; painting them more centered. See pics below for detail. I can't wait for this release, I Pre-ordered (3) for the kids (Estimated Nov-Dec 2011....$180). This release is not the DX (Hot Toys Proprietary eye movement version).

Life like eyes sample on a 1/9 Custom Mego Superman head below,....If it could be done to the smaller head, customizing the eyes of the 1/6 scale head should be a Breeze.
