Wow....speechless....I've known he's had problems but those recent wrestling "performances" are just pathetic...
I would have easily put his "Razor Ramon" character as one of my top 10 favorite WWF gimmicks ever....Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

On October 19, 2007, Luger suffered a nerve impingement in his neck that led to temporary paralysis. He underwent intravenous antibiotic treatment and was expected to make a full recovery.[89] Nearly a month after his spinal stroke, Luger was still in a quadriplegic state, having no movement in either his arms or legs. As of June 2008, Luger was said to be able to stand on his own for short periods of time and walk using a walker. As of 2010, Luger has stated in an interview that he is able to walk more comfortably, and is able to drive around after being paralyzed from the neck down before. Luger has stated in an interview he now resides in Atlanta,Georgia and loves his family.

It's really an interesting dichotomy when you look at wrestlers who were completely comsumed by the business and those who were not. They were surrounded by the same obstacles and all faced the same temptations, yet there are those who continue to thrive and those whose lives are a complete wreck.
Sting is a perfect example. He was obviously in the era of steroids, drugs and endless parties yet he looks great into his fifties and has his life together. Chris Jericho is anothe example of an individual not succumbing to the horrors of the industry. He appears totally in control of his destiny where his contemporaries Eddie Gurerro and of couse Benoit, lost it.
I can't come up with anything concrete why some fail miserably and others truly succeed. Call it a moral center or just freakin lucky. You see lists and tributes to dead wrestlers and think it's the most brutal way to make a living. Then, you see guys like the above, the Rock and others who have taken care of themselves. There's such a great divide.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

I think most of it is the person and not the business.
Look how many "rock stars" killed themselves at a young age for many different reasons and compare that with how many didn't.
Paul McCartney is the perfect example of somebody who had it all and didn't screw it up.
Why ?
Because he's probably level headed IN REAL LIFE .... That's the key -imo
It's the same with wrestlers

It's a sad story. I remember him as Scott Hall in the AWA days. I mostly watched AWA with my Dad in the 1970s and early 80s as they would hold matches here locally at the Catholic High School. I did watch some WWF and I believe it was called the NWA but once I left for college I was more interested in partying and chasing girls.
