    Another Beatles Question

    Hi guys,

As a kid I grew up with this version of I Am The Walrus

Just wondering ... Can it be bought on legal CD ?

    It's NOT on mono masters

    Note- extra at 1:53 in.

Do a Google search (then hit the shopping link) and you can find it cheaper especially if you don't mind vinyl.

The CD single doesn't have the version you seek, Mikey.

The version you want was only released as a MONO mix from Capitol on the single and later remixed into a fake stereo version on the Rarities album. I've included a link. It also includes the extra 6 beat intro.

***RARE*** The Beatles: I Am The Walrus ***SINGLE VERSION***

This was never released on CD other than bootlegs. There is the Dr Ebbetts Rarities version out there that sounds great. Maybe some other folks know of the Capitol Singles Bootleg compilations.

            Thanks for the info, Ed

I could have sworn it was on one of my Mystery Tour or 67-70 albums
