I never liked Sloppy Joes

What's the difference between Manwich and sloppy joes? I hate Manwich sauce, much to my husband's chagrin. It tastes too much like ketchup.

I like homemade Sloppy Joe's. Nothing "from the can" is nearly as good as freshly made.

Manwich is a brand of sloppy joe mix/sauce. Try someone elses. We have another made by Del-Monte in stores here as well.

I haven't had one in years, but I used to love them, I probably still would.

There's a local fast food chain in Ontario called Lick's (I think it's still around, but the one near me in Niagara Falls closed down some time ago) that has something they called a "sloppy joe" but it's different. It was a hamburger with tons of chili on it (kinda a chili burger instead of a chili dog). Messy as hell, but it tasted so good!
