I like Bruce Willis, but these two sprung to mind right away - particularly because the originals were fantastic:

    • Last Man Standing
    • The Jackal (though, not really related so much to the original movie, so maybe not a remake.)

A few others that really pained me:

    • The In-Laws
    • Psycho (maybe an interesting risk to try this - but it really did stink)
    • The Stepford Wives
    • Get Carter
    • The Producers (I never saw the stage version, but this was just horrible to me)
    • Mr. Deeds
    •*Breathless

I think because it was one of the first to take what was an earnest adventure show and to give it a farsical and jokey makeover.

      My choices though are

      Lost In Space
Charles Angels (which I actually enjoy watching because it is so bad and steals from so many other movies. Another McG masterpiece.)

Not only because it's just plain bad...but because of the embarrassing performance of Steve Martin...I could've respected him if he would've just played Inspector Clouseau as himself, Steve Martin...but he actually did an extremely poor imitation of the late great Peter Sellers...it was really, really bad...and oh my...that annoying fake French accent of his...terrible, terrible. Without a doubt...Steve Martin's WORST role EVER...and don't take me as a Martin hater...I love Steve Martin...The Three Amigos is one of my all time favorite movies...but his Pink Panther/Inspector Clouseau SUCKED donkey testicles...lol.

...and you know what's the worst part about it?

It was the highest grossing Pink Panther movie ever!!!!!!!!!!

            WHAT'S WRONG WITH PEOPLE???

I have avoided remakes for the most part and have never seen the Pink Panther. I also have never seen Charlie's Angels or Dukes of Hazzard which I really don't consider remakes since they were TV shows turned movie.

I liked the Karate Kid remake...the original is better but it still has a certain charm about it.

I have seen trailers for "Footloose" which completely stuns me. The original movie was ok...strange plot but now a remake? I guess there will be a "Dirty Dancing" remake in the next few years?

I didn't think it was so bad.....Uma alone was eye candy in the leather cat suit....for that alone it's worth watching..... I thought the cast was great the script could have been better.....

Lost in space is another one that could have been better....Gary oldman as Dr.Smith was great casting.....Matt LeBlanc as Major Don West was actually pretty good i thought it had a great cast and great set designs but an uninspired script......

Don't get me started! Dirty, stringy, greasy haired biker gang casted remake of my favorite movie. Rob Zombie should be whipped, tarred and feathered. Somebody PLEASE reboot this franchise.

It was the first movie where I actually had over 50% of an audience walk out of and demand their money back when I was running a movie theater. The same thing occurred at the following two showings so from the rest of its theatrical run (1 week btw) I had all of my box people literally warn people about the flick.

                          Seriously.

Yeah...the Avengers movie was horrible...both actors were trying so hard to be suave, and the movie was pretty much pointless...lol.

...and I'm sorry...but Uma Thurman ain't no Diana Rigg...
