Some of you might still believe in him and that's highly admirable. But this question is for the rest of us who believed in him as children. At what point did you stop believing and realize there was no Santa?
For me it was when I was in first grade. My older brother and I had come home from school and were locked out of the house (in those days there wasn't much fear of leaving kids alone coming home from school.) The only way we could get into the house was to go through the "scary" basement. We avoided the basement at all costs because it was a dark place full of unimaginable monsters. But unfortunately it was really cold outside and we had little choice.
So we went through the outside basement door and went inside and found bags full of toys and presents. We didn't understand why all those toys were sitting there as if they were an offering to the monsters who lived there. My older brother was the first to come to the conclusion that our parents were actually the ones buying the toys. I tried to be more diplomatic "just in case" by stating to him "well maybe Santa had to deliver them early because he had to go to so many houses". He nodded his head in agreement and we decided never to speak of this to our parents. We were afraid that if we said anything to them they would take all our presents back. And that's how I learned the truth about Santa!
