Yeah, let's hope he gets the same coverage as Steve Jobs...it would be a shame if he didn't. Despite his very ugly battles with the NFL he was one of the innovators of the game.

Say what you well, he was one of the most influential and innovative men in pro football from 1960 through the mid 1980s. Sad that he dies when the Raiders are on the rise.

I've hated every decission He's made since He let Gruden Go to the Bucks, and they Kicked The Raider's Arse in the Superbowl. The Nation will rise to greatness Now imo.

I'm sure he will be remembered for years to come. He may have done some jerk things, but the game would not be the same today without him. RIP
                      It's all good!

Hector you know it was one more Just win baby for Al.

With that said. I can't stand the Raiders. Not I'm a Broncos fan kind of hate, but a very much so dislike. It is amazing how hated he was in the end. It is nice to see even the owner of the Steelers pay his respects for the good Al davis did do back when he wasn't a freakin loon. R.I.P AL. Just win baby. Go Bengalsssssssssssssssssss

Man, Sebastian Janikowski is a beast...he kicked four field goals...three of them were 50+ Yards (55, 54, and 50)...now people can start seeing why he was picked in the first round...his greatness was not obvious when the Raiders were losers...but now that they are starting to win...Janikowski can now be appreciated as one of the best kickers ever...certainly the most powerful...that's for sure...
