If you measure it on the screen the van should fit between the posts no problem. The mirrors should be higher than the posts so they won't hit. Try it and see what you think.

Then if the van fits between the posts...then the posts are pretty much pointless, defeating the purpose of the entire bloody endeavour.

Looks a bit tight for that van to fit thru. Where is the follow up pic?

              Funny pic

But I think it's possible the barriers might be built to be easily removed incase of a fire emergency.
If not I don't think the fire department would allow them to be built.
              Just a guess.

I've seen those type posts being istalled they can be unbolted from the base so you can remove them.

Actually, i'm pretty sure the only bollards that cannot be removed are the ones around gas pumps and some drive-thu's.
They're sunk directly into a concrete base... usually 4 foot.
Most others (if permanent) would violate a city's fire code if not easily removable for an emergency.

Bwahahaha even if the van is a tight fit ..it seems idiotic to park it inside the area...and if they are unboltable why give yourselves more work by having to unbolt then rebolt the bollard after you have driven out.......they is stupid.

Hector that is too funny. Please post the follow up photo. I'm curious to see what happened.
