              He's that incredible mix of genuine innovator and genuine icon to me - I have to admit, it's a weird feeling.

              I honestly think that he maybe one of the few people in our lifetime that history really singles out and remembers - you know, 'that guy from the computer age' - the way that Henry Ford is remembered now by high school students.

                    Sorry to say that I could see it coming, but it was still a bit of a shock to read the headlines. He was an incredible innovator. RIP Steve.

                      wow, i mean we knew he was ill and his stepping down frmo CEO was a good indicator how sick he was, but this still comes as a shock. RIP, he was truly an innovator

                              Just found out about this. I guess the fact that he stepped down should have been an indicator that things were much worse than anyone imagined. R.I.P.
