I love the part where Ringo explains that he used to hang-out with John in his backyard and they would hear the phone ring in the house and they knew it was Paul and they would say "He's gonna make us work again" in exasperation!!!

    Too Freakin' Funny!!!

no doubt. i also always get a laugh out of the interviews with George where bascially all he talks about is getting high and searching for reefer as he called it. he did it a lot in the Beatles Anthology too

There are those other options. I finally got a chance and found it and converted it (High Def too). Watched part 1 and was disappointed as most were. Watched part 2 tonight and enjoyed most of it...a lot more than part 1. Lot's of stuff I had never seen like the footage from the Dark Horse Tour. Couple of things that were touched on that they really should have gone into deeper. Lennon's death being one of them. George was probably the MOST paranoid of the rest of the Beatles after John's death. Also, why didn't they spend any time on George's Live shows in Japan. It was a major deal that not only was George touring in Japan after 17 years of not playing live...but it was a tour with his best friend Eric Clapton.

What I found funny was the Phil Spector stuff...George hated some of Phil's mixes after literally spending a whole day on one song. I guess that's why it was revisited in 2000 with new mixes. Overall it was a good documentary. I'd love to see the extra stuff that's in a Box Set of the movie that for the moment only released in the UK. Since the release of Georges last CD "Brainwashed" there have been rumors that his wife and son were thinking of releasing the Dark Horse tour live stuff. Love to see that and also see a possible DVD release of at least one of the Shows from the Japan tour with Eric Clapton and his band.

Their eyes can't hope to see
        The beauty that surrounds them
        Isn't it a pity".

          Watched both parts.

It was nice to finally see a little bit of emotion from Paul talking about George's last days...and Ringo nearly damn lost it.

So much for the myth of hating each other (although I hear George and John were not speaking at the time of his death).
