I can't stand most television today. Every other joke or story plot is about sex. This country is incredibly bored or severely undersexed. That's why I keep my box sets running all the time. Starsky & Hutch is a regular. Also my seasonals are out right now, which are the Night Stalker, Munsters, and the Addams Family.

Watched about 15 min of Playboy Club, that was the limit. the revamped

Charlie's Angels I saw only the first episode, and the acting was soooo bad ("I can't believe my heart could hurt this much!") I knew it wasn't long for the crapper.

Prime Suspect I like, but then I liked Chase last season. Hopefully they let it find it's way.

Person of Interest is good, real good. I also like Ringer with Sarah Michelle Buffy.

As far as returning shows, 5-0 is still great. Haven't watched CSI with Ted Danson yet, nor House. Walking Dead comes back on October 16th!

And I have to say, I'm Big Bang Theoried out. The shark has jumped I think, all these nerds are getting hot babes (well, not Sheldon, but he got a nerd-girl). And now that EVERY station is showing reruns 24-7, I'm not finding this stuff amusing anymore. Liked it better when it seemed only I was getting the comic book & toy jokes.

I found out this past weekend that the show I really liked was cancelled...Lie To Me with Tim Roth. Great show. But Fox would rather have X-Factor...enough with the Idol CRAP.

CRAP ...I did not know that about Lie to Me. One of my favorite shows.

I hate that too. Sex humor is effective only as a condiment. Making the whole show based on sex humor is annoying.

Homeland on Showtime looks pretty good. Luther is back for a run on BBC America. Also, Community and Parks & Recreation rock, but they're not exactly new. I'm currently working through the library's DVDs of Foyle's War, a mystery series set in WW2 Britain. It's pretty good.

I do the exact same thing, dude-- Planet of the Apes, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers, Space 1999 and of course, the Krofft stuff... I can't stand anything that has been on TV recently.

Unless you're a woman and the show is called Sex in the City and is about four middle aged, unattractive, selfish, trendy, annoying, whiny, chicks who wear overpriced clothes and shoes, and eat out way too much.

You do realize not all of the female gender liked that show.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Yes, but I live in Orange County, CA-- All of the women here like that show.

My wife Maggy would love you. She is a HUGE Spongebob fan and collector. We have around 25 of the big Rubbermaid storage tubs all packed with new, unopened Spongebob stuff. 3 undrilled bowling balls and bags, a hard to find NOS train set, animation cells, clothes, toys, furniture, you name it. I think she may have one of the largest collections around. It's insane!
