Ok, turned to MeTv to watch Bob Newhart and some Spanish programming is on. There's nothing on KFTY's website about a change in programming. I hope this is some kind of weird glitch!

There's a channel I get that has 100% english spoken shows and about 75% spanish spoken commercials. It threw me for a moment because I thought my brain was refusing to understand english.
So when I watch that channel, I have fun during the commercials trying to figure out what they're saying. 3 years of spanish and I only have a vague grasp of very few words. But with the ad and the little spanish I know, I can make it out. I do better with reading spanish than I do listening to it. I do very well when the spanish word is the exact same as the english word.

In my area the MeTV has changed names to local station's call letters but it still has the same shows. Look around, maybe they've just moved it to another channel?Last edited by Marvelmania; Sep 30, '11, 8:53 AM.Comment
