    My Vitamix 5200 Blender and my Omega VRT 350HD juicer...






    The Rolls-Royces of the blender and juicer world.

    Aren't they just one of the most awesome-looking kitchen appliances you've ever seen?

      When I saw the thread title I thought for sure I was going to see two beautiful puppies or adorable kitties.

      Kick-*** Appliances are cool too.

      You can't really pet them very much but they don't eat a lot either.

      Nice purchases Hector.

                                      The Vitamix has 2+ hp...it can make anything from ice cream, peanut butter, dough..to hot soup...and margaritas in between...and it comes with a 7 year warranty.

                                      The Omega has a whopping 10 year warranty...it's a slow-masticating juicer that can even juice wheatgrass...something Jack Lalanne's Juiceman just can't do.

                                      I'm in love...

                                              The reason I didn't get a high speed juicer like Lalanne's Juiceman (or the higher priced Breville)...because they just oxides and pulverizes stuff...and take the flavors out...I love the slow-masticating features of mine...the key is slow-churning juicers...not those high speed fast ones.

                                              Here...see for yourself (especially check out how the tomato juice comes out and differs from these two)...

                                                      Maybe I'm being super lazy with this question. But are they both easy to breakdown & clean?

                                                      With my health issues I may need to somehow find some cash and invest in a juicer.
