Colored lights or white lights??

So which do you prefer on your house or tree? While I like all white I personally love colored lights better. My wife prefers those icicle lights (which are a major pain to hang up and take down and put back in it's box) so we alternate each year between those and my big colored flashing lights on the house. The tree has both colored and white.

I like the classic look of the tiny white, non-blinking lights.

When I was a kid, yeah, it was all about the large, blue, red, & green lights. Those things put off heat. You touched one of those, you got 2nd degree burns on the finger tips.

We've always used multi-coloured lights both inside and out.

I used to think the 2 colour lights looked much neater...

But I also think they look a bit too sterile-- if you know what I mean.

I personally dig the white ones more,but my wife likes the colored ones

I mix both together and it creates a great display as there's never any white bulbs mixe in with the colored one...this way you get both.

I like colored lights best. White lights are so plain. But I did find a super long string of white lights left here by one of my brother's previous tenants. My mom likes them so I hung them around the bookshelf in the living room, over the fireplace and into the dining room. But when I get the tree on Christmas Eve, the colored lights go up on the tree and around the window.

As a kid -- colored lights all the way! But for my tree now I prefer white lights.

But "The Christmas Tree" in Rockefeller Center has to be colored.

I think white lights are "classier" looking---more understated
---but I love both

I like colored lights. My wife likes the white. So our house is decorated with white lights

Love the colored lights on the house and tree. Heck, I even still like those old big colored lights on the tree. You know those ones from the 60's and 70's.
