Well, I do have Valley Of The Dinosaurs and Fat Albert! (Fat Albert can also be seen on Hulu). I do remember the Film Festival, and I'd watch it sometimes. But usually it was Soul Train or American Bandstand by that time.

well, this was before my time (i was born in '73). Ironically my first exposure to superheros were probably batman/tarzan around the '77 year. I wish they would give saturdays another try on the networks. Those were some good times. Wasnt this around the time they use to do those saturday superstar movies? Meaning those over a hour long cartoons? yipes!

So, when did you stop watching cartoons? I think I stopped around 11 or 12. Throughout most of the '80's I didn't watch a lot of tv. I read a whole lot of books. When cartoons were on I hated the "in the news" segments, but now I like to watch them.
When did you start watching them again? I started after I had kids and they were watching them. It kind of started with my daughter loving Gumby. I never watched it before, but started then and love it now.

I never stopped watching cartoons. I think most people liked them but I always hated the School House Rocks segments.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I've always watched cartoons. And I love Schoolhouse Rock and In The News. In fact, I've been trying to find an In The News segment that was narrated by "Josie and Alan" from Josie and The Puss-y-cats.
