Baseball - played it from age 5 or so till high school and was all-state. I still love it to this day despite all the strikes and steroids.

NFL - The lockout soured me a little, but I came back around. I have no specific teams to pull for so I watch players instead. My dad is a lifelong Packers fan, so I kinda like them too.

NCAA Basketball - I grew up on Indiana basketball, both collegiate and high school. It's in my blood. Watching these kids play their guts out is far superior to the NBA. It's way cooler to see a 5 foot 11 dude sink eight three pointers than to watch dudes dunk and travel all over the court.

NCAA football - Again, it's so awesome to see a little dude make a game winning catch in a bowl game knowing he'll never have a chance at the next level. He plays every game like it's his last. That's heroic.

Actually, I have to agree totally with this point of view. I think it's because they preempted cartoons on Saturday mornings and I missed some shows I really wanted to see. I think it made me hate sports. Either that or sports are just boring and uninteresting.

It's both for me.

I use to think golf sucked until I actually started playing and realized just how hard it is, I now respect the game and watch it for pointers

it may seem abnormal but i really dislike sports. the closest i come is the batting cage on occasion. i find that fun for some reason.
the ones i like the least are golf and football (probably IS because it use to ruin my cartoon saturdays)
if Pool, bowling and darts can be considered sports its probably them i like the most. I will even watch them a little on tv
