Blank VHS tapes - any suggestions?

I have A LOT of VHS tapes ( over 100 ) - used once or twice and wiped clean with a strong magnet - they are in good condition but I don't need them. Any suggestions on what to do with them? It seem a waste to toss them in the garbage.

Crap, I've tossed hundreds of recorded VHS tapes over the past five years or so. Still got a lot left too (which I'll probably keep, those ones have a bunch of hard to find movies, etc, not released on DVD). Yeah I know it seems a waste to throw them all out, but I couldn't find anyone who wanted them. I'm not going to even think about what I paid for all those blank tapes over the years.

Take them to thrift stores. I still find a few blank VHS tapes at the local ones along with ones that has movies recorded on them.

                Ahem....

While I would like some of the VHS tapes (and yes I do use them a LOT), I really don't have room for over 100.

Just put an ad in the marketplace and offer them for free (only pay shipping). I'm sure plenty of people will take you up on the offer.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking about Thrift Stores but wasn't sure, I've got 2 Goodwill and a Salvation Army I can give to. Also, I am willing to send any quantity for the cost of shipping if someone wants some.

I've tried the garage sale route, the first time I sold a few then gave away a box full but the last time no one wanted any.

I should add that most of the tapes are 2/6 hour sp/slp but I also have a handfull of 8 hour slp tapes. They're about 10 to 25 years old. Most are from the 1990's and are brand name tapes, most are Kodak and then Sony, Memorex but I also have TDK, Maxell, JVC, RCA.

I taped a lot of tv complete shows, Trek: TNG, DS9, Enterprise - Buffy, Angel, The Waltons, Twilight Zone and MANY, MANY others. That's why I have SO many tapes. If I added the tapes I'm keeping for myself "just in case" I needed some tapes it would probably come to around 200 tapes - and that's AFTER the garage sales where about 100 went.
