Did anyone watch the new Charlie's Angels?

It's coming on in 1/2 an hour and I wanna know is it worth my time? Or is it just another poor excuse for a remake?

Actually, I did. While I didn't hate it, I didn't love it either. I think it would have been better if there was more character development. It was the pilot after all. WAAAAYYY too much technology. It takes all the mystery and effort out of detective work. It seemed almost too easy. I think a good way to define it is Charlie's Angels for people w/ Attention Deficit Disorder. I may watch again, but if I miss it, I won't be heartbroken.

The first thing that struck me was in the intro. The Angels from the past were good-hearted girls that went through the police academy only to receive mundane jobs. These new Angels are "bad girls" who were cat burglers/cops gone bad/ etc. That kinda soured me a little bit from the very start.

I didn't see anything on the NFL network or the news stations. You mean they still have those three networks?

I watched exactly half of it before I had to stop. I'll not give it another chance either. Total fail!!

I watched the first 15 minutes, and that was enough for me. I didn't find any of the main characters interesting enough to stay tuned in. And what's the deal with Bosley John Bosley?

Why not do it retro and set it in the 70s? Get the Mad Men guys to do it. Or Tarantino. Bring back the feathered hair and jumpsuits.

Speaking of which--Playboy Club anyone? Meh. I quit after 15 minutes. I'm hoping Pan Am will scratch the retro itch.

I know! Didja catch that David Doyle look-alike before the camera swung over to the hunk Bosley? I'm sorry...the show is called Charlie's Angels, not Charlie's Angels and tech who** Bosley.
