The Warriors or The Wanderers. Which do you prefer?

Which of these 2 great New York teenage gang films do you prefer? Both are fantastic, and favorites of mine since the days of VHS.
It's a hard choice to make, but the question must be asked....
Which is the better film, The Warriors or The Wanderers?

They are very differnt films, but I go with The Warriors
.......all the way back to Coney.

I love the Wanderers a bit more, based in the early 60's it has Ken Wahl(Wiseguy) and Karen Allen. It's loosely based on the book which I read by Richard Price.

The names of the gangs in the book and movie were based on real gangs from the Bronx during the 50's and 60's......

Although i like the concept of the Warriors it now seems dated and at times pretty stupid....

After "The Warriors" came out, me and my friends went as the baseball furies for Halloween that year. ; ) "Gimmie some candy or I beat you senseless with my Louisville Slugger, Mrs. Tierney..."

Warriors. The original version, not the directors cut. And would prefer the original beginning put back.
I like the directors cut idea but the comic book framing aspect really gets in the way. Prefer smooth transitions. Not too crazy about the beginning but I like the idea.

According to the IMDB there is a tv version of The Warriors which is a lot longer than the dvd version.
