^^^ Man, my wife loves the Dogs barking jingle bells. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I can't stand Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt, (or anyone else who sings it) I also hate the Pointer Sisters version of Carol Of The Bells. Wretched!

"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

I enjoy alot of goofy Christmas songs, but I absolutely despise the Paul McCartney song. It plays every so often at work and I just cringe when it comes on. There's also a song called "Suzie Snowflake" that plays at work that just makes me gag every time it runs.

Hmmm...I think I have to post in order to see my new (and first) sig...
(I think they don't work "retroactively" because I don't see it in my previous posts)-
--lemme try
Anyways, I vote they should have a channel on satellite radio
called CHRISTMAS TORTURE RACK with McCartney's song, the "Grandma..." tune
and that "Barking" Jingle Bells song back to back to back ad infinitum
----sure it'd be horrid, but what a concept!
(and we did all the market research needed in this thread!)

Glad to see I'm not alone in my hatred for "Wonderful Chrismastime". Sorry Hugh.

a decade and I've come to accept that WONDERFUL CHRISTMASTIME
is a hated song on the whole as far as message boards are concerned
---so, you know, I can't be let down that "the sky is blue" ya know
I do love that Paul song though---and oddly enough, can't stand
listening to Lennon's, which is usually praised on the Net
I usually just post about WC repeatedly to see if any one else will say "hey I
like that song alright" It doesn't usually happen
(I actually just dedicated an entire thread in this spirit regarding the
usually "hated by music fans" song MR. ROBOTO on another message board,
suprisingly, the feelings THERE have actually been more balanced!)"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I like most Christmas songs and will only get tired of them when they are played over and over again but don't really dislike any except for some of the lousy rap remakes I hear of classic Christmas songs but it's mostly because I don't care for that particular genre of music....I'm sure someone out there likes it or they wouldn't play it."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

One I really don't like is Celebrate Me Home. They play it however many times on the XM Christmas stations and can't figure out what it has to do with Christmas. Sounds more like something that could be played anytime of the year, sort of like you could play Jingle Bells at any time during winter not at just Christmas.Comment
