Emeraldknight and myself recently met Henry Winkler and you couldn't ask for a nicer man. I think he leaves a wonderful impression wherever he goes. And I'm glad he received this award, though I'm not surprised. Excellent news.

I don't think so Mike,i think they can have the honour but not use the title as Sir or can't use the initals after their name.They can also be nominated for it also.

Definitely. I'll never forget a few years ago he did his first convention appearance in the area and the line was HUGE. Seeing the line he actually got up went down the line and thanked everyone for coming and waiting. In the signings/events I've been to I've never seen anyone do that. Class act all the way.

He does not get the honour of calling himself Sir Henry Winkler, but he can use the post-nominal initials, meaning he is now Henry Winkler, OBE (Officer of the British Empire).

Funny timing......last night I had a dream that I met Henry Winkler and hung out with him for like an hour. I really shouldn't eat before I go to bed.

Not sure what sparked me thinking of Fonz....I usually dream about Megan Fox.
