Saw this on IO9 today and it cheered me up at work, and when you work at my job cheer is in short supply.

Wow. That guy was pretty tough on Captain Action. The CA line fascinated me as a kid (when they were new on the shelf) and still does to this day. If I would have done one thing differently, I would have made the masks slip over the head (as Playing Mantis did). Having the two piece mask was problematic if you were a kid wanting to play. Because invariably they would fall off during a good scuffle. But I loved the look of Capt Action as much as I loved the outfits. Clearly they had something right, since he is making his third return this fall.
