OK, I must be mixing my movies up. I thought Viva Knievel was the movie w/ George Hamilton. I never knew Evel was in his own movie! I have to see this one.

George was in the bio movie Evel Knievel in 1971
I haven't seen this movie in ages but i find it interesting that Gene kelly is in it.....kinda a forgotten role for the legendary actor
Surprising as it may sound...to this day I have never seen this movie. I kind of see Evel Knievel the same way I see the Beatles. As real people, they are far too fascinating to be imitated by actors, so I never bother watching the movies. I would rather watch documentaries on them.
I do love me some Evel-- Always been a big fan. Begged my parents to take me to see the snake river canyon jump, to no avail. Had to settle for wide world of sports or whatever show it got broadcast on-- I like both "Viva Knievel" and "Evel Knievel". Both super nostalgic. I also have a DVD called "Evel Knievel, Last of the Gladiators", which is a about an hour long doc type of thing with a lot of rare footage...
I've only seen the George Hamilton movie too. Cool.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
Wow, even though that was a scene from a movie, I would have loved it if Evel would have visited me and brought me toys!
