Don't have an iPhone, but I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon. -
Yeah, I work with a kid that has an iPhone, and I wish he didn't. The guy's on Facebook pretty much all day long. If we do anything remotely novel, a picture is posted almost immediately ("Hey, I'm frying eggs!"). I'd prefer it if that weren't the case, as our superiors are foursquare against joy of any sort.Comment

I've used an iPhone and an Android phone. Much prefer my current Android G2. The access and availability of apps on the Android Market was one of my main reasons to switch. Free phone calls on Google Voice are another. I don't do that much "Social Media" stuff, but I use it for a lot of school and work stuff. The GPS has saved my can more than once. The ability to share graphics and documents with clients and coworkers has saved my job(s) more than once. And the ability for my wife being able to keep an eye on me (Google "Google Latitude") has saved my marriage more than once... or maybe not... my comic shop resides in a "dead zone" so she can't track me there... and I can only hide the credit card bill for so long.
That being said, if you are not even a moderate technophile, you might want to wait a bit on those smart phones and tablets. The price and usability may not be for you.Comment
