Great pickups...I can usually find something here and there, but not so many finds at yard sales these days...the Pepsi phone is great, I have one hanging up in my game room.Leave a comment:

Wow. I definitely live in the wrong part of the country. At any estate sale in my area that Pepsi phone alone would have been $50. I won't even comment on the other stuff. You paid $35 total and that would have been the asking price on the Happy Days cans in my neighborhood. On a bad day the Erico will double your total investment. My grandparents had the exact same one in their house. Some very nice scores. I bet you could pull about $200 on a flip of everything. Decent days pay for yard saling.Leave a comment:

Thanks everyone! Funny because I was thinking the MOTU guy was some kind of catman figure. Thanks for the info!Never saw those Happy Days cans they are cool!
Sadly, I sold my Give-A -Show set a couple years ago at auction for less than I'd expected. I'll probably replace it one day I'm sure.
Oh, and those figurers. The Skunk is STINKOR from MOTU and the green guy is the Toxic Avenger (from the cartoon series not the film). Not sure on the bearded guy.
Some of the other phones I saw but didn't get were a Minnie Mouse, Garfield, some kind of Michael Jordan basketball phone and a M&M phone.
I think there's around maybe 20-30 different cans in a complete set of Nehi Happy days cans. These were the only ones they had.Last edited by Marvelmania; Sep 4, '11, 12:10 PM.Leave a comment:

Great stuff! I don't remember those Happy Days cans either and I was quite the grape soda aficionado back in my childhood
. I can imagine being back in time, going to a soda machine to get a grape soda, only to find I got the can with "Mr. C" and not the fonz

Yard Sale Finds
Went out yesterday morning and found a few neat items. Not so much in the way of toys but it was still a fun hunt.
Steve Scout and 3 unknown figures that were in the same box $4 for the lot.
vintage Ericofon $10. Found a few phones at an estate sale. He guy who passed used to work for Nothern Telecom. There was a huge boxful of phones but I only graabed 3 of them. This is about the 10th Ericofon I've found over the years. I've always had good luck on Ebay with them but decided that the next one I come across I'm keeping and going to put a jack on it to use. So I'm keeping this one.
1976 Mickey Mouse phone $7. They came down on the price of this one since the ear cap piece isn't original
Vintage glasses. .25 each. I was hoping that the Circus World was maybe from the old Toy Store but it's not. It's from some old theme park I've never heard of.
1962 Give A Show Projector and slides .25 Box is rough but still a neat old piece! Found it under a stack of board games.
Cool newer Superman safe/bank $1. It has an alarm bell that goes off when the door is opened. Love the vintage Superman pic on the front.
Another phone I grabed at the estate sale. Pepsi Machine phone w/ box $10
and finally a few old 1978 Nehi Grape Happy Days pull tab cans $2 for the set
