Did pretty good today.





Verdon is in a silk shorts A-man suit in pretty nice shape. Buck body in good shape, some stress cracks on feet. head of course major zombie.

complete Darkon body in the parts lot along with misc mego parts, vintage Joe parts, empire helicopter accessories. looks like a fighting furies leg in there too, not sure. anyone know what the suction cup thing goes too? it has a silver peg attachement and looks like it might be a hand attachment - JJ Armes maybe? a few other parts I am not sure about - maybe marx or gabriel. original GA boots, chips boots

picked it up all for $24.00

^^ there is something for everyone there, I even saw a Beatles Butcher cover version of Yesterday and Today. did not ask what he was asking for it or which version of the record it was but thought it was neat since we just had that thread about it

I went last year and had a couple of mego hits. Nothing huge though. It's decent size but it was a ride. I did it in one day but it was a long one.

yes, they are repairable and it is relatively easy once you know how. ThatBatmanGuy sells a replacement joint kit with instructions. although I understand he has been MIA lately. Zica hands are a perfect fit. You can see my SJ army in the toyroom section in a thread I started
I just finished rebuilding the Darkon I got today.

Hopefully the repair parts prove to be more durable than the originals so one doesn't have to go through the repairs in another 30 years. That being known, I may pick one up some day to restore. I just wouldn't want to do it again when I'm 74.

last year was the first time I went as well and i have lived within a half hour my whole life.
this was the first time AI bought any vintage toys. I wanted to the last one we went to last year but funds were tight.
this is the first one we made it to this year. I noticed a lot of people selling character glasses, the superheroes, star wars and trek, you name it. I don't collect those. also a lot of vintage GI Joe foot lockers, some with clothes and accessories, some with figures and odds and ends. one was actually $25 for a footlocker full of vintage clothes. I just was not looking for Joe clothes at the moment but it was a good buy.
then of course you always have the guys that want to charge outragious prices for Mego's.....you know 65.00 for a beat to hell Thor missing everything but his body suit. he actually wanted 40.00 for an empty footlocker. although he did have some nice Captain Action stuff, i didn't even ask knowng he is high priced
