Nothing like getting woken at 2:30 am with tornado warnings!!!!!

Tropical Storm Lee down here in the Gulf of Mexico is trying to drown us.

I fell asleep with the TV on (good thing), and a National Weather Advisory wakes me with a tornado warning in my area. Nothing happened, but we are under a tornado watch until 12:00 noon.

We are getting soaked. We are expected to get 15-20" of rain from yesterday around 5pm until Sunday afternoon

I live just about the "N" in New Orleans on the radar below

WHOA! Dude, be careful. Good thing you were alert enough to stay alert. I heard the recommendation today on the news to do that.

    Keep us posted

Just had another tornado warning within 5 miles of my house until 4:15 am. For those of you who don't know what a tornado warning is, a tornado watch means the storm is capable of producing tornadoes, and tornado warning is a tornado has been seen or radar picks up a formation in the clouds.

Be safe down there. It's supposed to hit us in the mountains of NC here Monday. We need rain bad but not the kind they say is coming.

Another night of tornado warnings. It has rained non-stop here for the last 40 hours, and will not stop until tomorrow.

Is New Orleans handling the rain or is it looking like another major flooding event?

Wow. Heard the news today and CBS said that the storm is stalled over the area even though it has dropped out of hurricane status. More rain and flooding to come. Many thoughts and good vibes coming your way.
