It hasn't hit me yet, but I'm going to be upset when next Thursday comes and there is no new Supernatural. I'm not going to be happy without 24 come January either.
Not sure which shows are affected but have only just discovered Reaper and Pushing Daisys in the UK and love them so kinda hoping they aren't affected.
ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....
Smallville, Bones, House, Numb3rs, NCIS and the CSI's.
I watch Bones, Numb3rs, Navy NCIS and the CSI's too. Bones and Numb3rs are still relatively new here, so no worries there. And I'm so used to reruns on the other shows by now I hardly miss 'em
"...The agony of my soul found vent in one loud, long and final scream of despair..." - Edgar Allan Poe
I watched all 6 seasons of Smallville over the summer... got into season 7 beginning this past fall... looks like the strike will affect me there.
Same with The Office... watched seasons 1-3 last spring/summer and have been keeping up since this September...
I will probably abandon both shows and catch up when everyone decides to go back to work...
Meanwhile, it's all Netflix for me with a dash or 2 of Dr. Who & Torchwood beginning after Christmas.
I think BSG and Lost will have a few new episodes in the new year... I think possibly those 2 shows will have truncated seasons this time around.
Overall, the strike will affect me minimally. It's only been in the past couple of years that I've gotten back into watching anything besides movies (with the exception of Star Trek).
I only mildly miss new Letterman and Craig Fergison, otherwise I eschew most new network TV in favor of
TVLand (but the junk to classic TV ratio is getting worse and worse. I can't believe they are showing "Designing Women" and I really can't believe they will be showing "Just Shoot Me". In the case of "Designing Women" I have heard it's a good show but it doesn't belong on a classic TV channel and "Just Shoot Me" certainly does not)
Fox News
TCM
Classic movies and TV shows on DVD starting up on Mission:Impossible season 3 and Saturday Night Live season 2 (bring on Johnny Switchblade!)
I do watch the Simpsons, King Of The Hill, Family Guy and American Dad on Sundays but it seems they have been doing showing new episodes of those (most of the time)despite the strike.
24 I watched for the first time last year and am looking forard to the new season but not dying for it
I like House and Cold Case but there isn't a single show on TV network or cable I "can't miss" I just watch my laser disc and dvd collection after all that why I bought them in the first place. I despise most "reality" tv since it is about as unreal as it gets. I missed the boat with Survivor (all puns intended) I came on what 99? watched parts of 3 episodes total in the first year.
