I am so thankful I was not eating or drinking when I read that.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

"The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus " was done in '85 and was based on the L. Frank Baum book. I personally don't consider it part of the Rankin-Bass Santa/Rudolph/Frosty mythos 'cause it's too far removed, subject wise as well as the time it was produced, from the rest of the specials. I'm not even sure I've sat through more than the first 10 minutes or so 'cause I thought it sucked.
Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!

You know, it's a shame that the Rankin-Bass LaDoSC is so, well, dumb... because the original story by Frank Baum is quite good, especially in this graphic novel form I have, as illustrated by Mike Ploog (who also did those beautiful still drawings in R. Bakshi's WIZARDS, among other cool stuff). But the RB version is kind of castrated and comes across as just plain silly... which you'd think might be good for a Christmas special, but no such luck here!
