My Brother is still the funniest person I know and I always try to be like him, but also Carson, Letterman, Rickles, Kinison, Jack Benny, and Looney Tunes.

I love suggestive humor mixed with a strong wit. Even as a kid I watched Groucho Marx all the time on 'You Bet Your Life'. I thought the Looney Tune cartoons were exceptionally brilliant. I even loved the Beatles because Lennon was so gifted at insulting people without them realizing it. I think his most classic moment was performing before the Queen of England. At one point he says, "For our next song I would like your help. Will all the people in the cheaper seats clap their hands. And if the rest of you would just rattle your jewelry."What balls! Then I enjoyed the boldness of some television shows like the Smothers Brothers, Laugh In, and Saturday Night Live with Belushi and Aykroyd. I especially enjoyed shows that dealt with social matters in a raw format as well like Sanford and Son and All in the Family. It's sad that we can't have television programming these days that is open and honest like that. Brilliant material.

My Family first, growing up in a latin community....and watching spanish TV it's unique unto it's self. As for comedians I owe everything to Groucho MarxComment

I know I don't joke around here that much but my family in general is hilarious. My two brothers and I have a very similar sense of humor that is witty but funny. Get the three of us together and it is really bad. We usually have our entire family crying with laughter. I often find things I read quite funny as opposed to true stand up comedians. It really takes a lot to make me laugh out loud but there are times I am reading a book that isn't necessarily a comedy book but the story is so funny; I am laughing so hard that I have tears coming out of my eyes. Often, I will try to read what I found funny to my wife but end up just bursting out in laughter and can barely get the words out. She will immediately start crying with laughter and I haven't even said anything funny at that point. Laughter truly is infectious."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

Sam Kinison, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor and George Carlin.
Oh yeah. Someone said John Lennon. That was brilliant. He was brilliant and he was a smart *** without even trying. His humor was also a good addition to where mine started right along with my influential comedians above.More custom Mego madness on Facebook right here...

What an awesome question. I don't think i saw anyone post this and i am a bit shocked.
I have had several influences in looking back. I depends on what age i was. The Carol Burnett show was huge for me. Tim Conway the most. Really shocked i didn't see his name mentioned yet, and of course Harvey Korman. Also i was a huge fan of WKRP in Cincinnati. I was born and raised in CT yet the Bengals are my favorite NFL team and i have worked in radio since i was 20. I never realized it till a few years ago when i was watching some episodes of both shows.Comment

The Three Stooges, John Ritter (Three's Company), Bugs Bunny, & Our Gang all made a big impact on me. I also like Johnny Carson, David Letterman, and Conan (O'Brien, not the Barbarian).
