If I were in the market for a custom Bats, I'd hit the BIN for that Adam West figure. That's a really good price.

OK, process of elimination.
Making a custom based on a real character is a lot harder to do than a comic version, so drop the comic version. Besides, you can get 12" Batman figures in cloth outfit just about anywhere for a lot less. One down.
I could be wrong here, but I believe the head used for DeathBlow is an altered Adam West head. The mouth, the chin, the ears on the cowl. And I think the suit looks a little too much like the Dead End one, so lose this one too. That's 2 down.
The Batman Returns is also pretty cool, but the auction says there are 75 of these out there. But the number on this one is 098/120, to me that says there are 120 of them out there, so chances are you'll run into another one of these some day. Three down.
Personally, I'm drawn towards the Adam West one, but that's just me. Altough I really like the Dead End one as well. Difficult choice, but I hope I narrowed it down a bit for you.

Oh my god!! they all look super fresh!! I'm not even the one that wants to buy one and it's super hard to just pick one

I think the dead one looks the best bro,I loved the Keaton one,but there's a lot of those out there (like the Takara one)

Batman Dead End is Freaking Awesome. That has to be the meanest Batman head-sculpt I've ever seen. That is exactly what I would picture old-school Batman to look like. That one has my vote.

I went down your path, I quickly eliminated the comic version...you are so right, they are much easier to make correctly than movie-based ones, so out the door he goes, lol.

I didn't know about the DeathBlow one was an existing reworked Adam West...so he's gone too.

I emailed the seller for the Batman Returns figure, no answer as of yet, but yeah, the numbers don't match up...he's still a cool one, I almost went for him...I love all that leather stuff...but like toys2cool said, there's plenty of Takara ones out there that looks like this one.

So my choice was between the Adam West (like Mike, Thunderbolty, and you, said)...or the evil-looking Dead End Bats (kingcarm and you).

Well, considering it's only a limited 30 figure run, looks baddass, and it's only $50 down now (the rest on February of next year)...I went ahead and hit the BIN for the Dead End Batman.

Plus the seller is in San Francisco, I can just go ahead and pick him up, lol.

Good choice on the Dead End Bats! He's pretty gritty lookin', all business, and very real-world. I love the little touches like the slight inward turn to the left (our right) ear, and the super-wrinkled glovies.

Okay, the comics Bats was my first choice, to be honest, 'cause I'm a sucker for the 70s-era blue-caped Batman! But the DE is a more artful, and spooky, and real-world. Nice buy!!!!

Congrats Hec. And when you think about it not a bad decision either. Adam West gets customized a lot more than Dead End, so if you're ever in the market for AW it shouldn't be too hard to find one
