Nick Ashford, half of the Ashford and Simpson songwriting team, passed away at 70 years old today:

Jerry Leiber, half of the songwriting team Leiber and Stoller, passed away at 78 years old:

The output of CLASSIC music from these two songwriting geniuses is amazing and they will sorely be missed. RIP.
