Question on Marvel Universe figures articulation..

    Greetings All..

Morris (Toyman) provided me the SPECTACULAR Walmart limited-edition Goliath a few weeks back, and he's been given a beautiful home here at my office, next to my Fantasticar and other Marvel heroes.. My question is this:

His leg joints look articulated to bend at the waist/crotch (ie, to a sitting position). However, I've tried several times to 'gingerly' bend them in the direction of the 'wheel' joint (the reason it's there..), just like the shoulder joint, and it just won't budge. I can twist the leg, but cannot actually bend the joint to put him in a sitting position.

I typically have him standing anyways, but had thought of a 'crouching stance', but without bending at the waist/crotch, that won't be possible.

Is this common..?? I LOVE him to bits regardless, but just curious whether anyone's had this issue besides me.

If anyone's got one, please chime in.

His joints are possibly "frozen" with the paint aps. You can try to heat up some water ..., and work them into movement.

After all, who doesn't like a good long soak in a hot tub (preferably with an attractive brunette/redhead/blonde)....

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I'm agreeing on the paint aps idea (and.., ok, the brunette as well... ).

As with most painted toys, you expect a fair amount of joint stiffness (yesh, same with the brunette...), but typically with patience and gentleness you can eventually work 'em out.

These joints in particular are pretty stiff. Thanks for the great hint!!
