Well S-O -a- B. I thought he had actually turned some of his demons around and was back in the studio again. Man, "Heaven" was one of the greatest chick getting songs back in the day. RIP Jani. :(

I saw Jani Lane's solo band one time and he was drinking on stage and his face was blazing red from the booze and what not. I wonder if this had an affect on his death? He looked like he was going to drop that night.

Man! I just cannot believe that I am reading this. I know we all have to go sometime but man people seem to be going earlier and earlier all the time. WTH?

WARRANT rocked! They had A LOT of great music. I still listen to them from time to time to this day.

My gf is an ex exotic dancer and when I use to visit her at the club where she worked at the time I actually seen Jani Lane there once. He was definitely a real ladies man. Kind of like another Brett Michaels.

RIP Jani - Heaven isn't too far away!

That's too bad. "Uncle Tom's Cabin" is one of the best songs of the late 80s/early 90s.

That one is my personal favorite from the band. RIP Brutha.

Didn't he actually marry that hottie from the cherry pie video.
Warrant was one of my favs back in the day. I meet them right as they were hitting it big at the chance in Poughkeepsie NY. Actually meet a ton of bands there. ANyone know if it's still there? There was no backstage so if you were cool and waited outside you could catch the bands.

I thought CHERRY PIE was their best song.

I still think that what hurt Warrant the most back in the day was the choreography in the "Down Boys " video. Took away a lot of 'street cred'. Cherry Pie however made up for a lot. Seriously though they were a great band for the time and are still great for those trips down memory lane.
