Time travel is possible and they have done it. The post about a car traveling at sea level vs a jet. They took two scientific clocks that measure down to 1000th's of a second. Both clocks were measuring the exact same time when the test began. They took one clock, and flew it supersonic around the global. When they compared the clocks afterwards, the jet clock was a few 1000th's of a second behind the other. The jet clock & pilot traveled forward in time (if only just nano-seconds). This proved one of Einstein's theories that the faster you go, the farther in time you will time travel.
