I just got the life-sized talking version of Talky Tina!
Why do you guys/gals want something that creepy????
I have loved this ep since I was 4 or 5 years old. As much as it scared me, I loved it too. I've always wanted the doll in secret, and now I have one!

I don't think so. This one is 18" tall and I think the Brikette doll used was only 15 or 16".

Carry on....
Brikette was sold in 16 and 22" versions. The doll used for the actual Talky Tina prop was 22". I've been displaying my custom one(made using the actual doll) next to an unaltered Brikette.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
It probably got busted or thrown in the trash. I read Willie/Caesar ended up in a private collection somewhere, so I keep hoping Tina will surface one day, just so someone can provide color photos and I can see if I guessed right.

yeah she looked kind of big, was the body used for the prop from another doll?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I can't find any source that says exactly what was used, but the Brikette torso is very small, and doesn't leave much room for a mechanism. I'm pretty sure there was more than one doll made, because with all the time I spent looking at the episode and screencaps, there are subtle differences in certain scenes. There are at least two distinct kinds of lace on Tina's collar, and in the scenes where the one kind is visible, the doll's neck just looks different, probably from whatever parts were added to make it move. Also, when Telly Savalas' character throws the doll, then later steps on her, it doesn't shatter. The plastic on Brikette's torso is on the brittle side, plus it looks like the doll squishes when stepped on. I'm thinking that there were at least two - one with the mechanical insides, and maybe one with a stuffed or rubbery torso.

wow you've really put your mind on this huh? very impressive work
Thanks! I did a lot of searching with help from the Replica Prop Forum. I'm very proud that I was able to build a working Talky Tina doll. I posted pics a while back in the Customs forum, in case you want to check it out.

I saw the episode...but had forgotten her name...and made no connection to your thread.
But now that I know...no way could I sleep with that doll just staring at me like that...hell no...
