Old Toys Your Kids Play With

Is there an old toy your kids play with more than or as much as any other modern day toy?

Both my daughters love this annoying toy, the Fisher Price Snoopy pull toy. I bought one a few years ago at a garage sale and my first daughter stole it from me on first sight. Now my 18 month old cannot get enough of it. It makes the most annoying squawking noise.

Of course, my 4 year old also loves her Mego WOZ playset with a few figures as well.

my old Mr. Potato heads . My son loves those things . and my Sesame street hand puppets. It puts me on pins and needles to see him playing with my Potato heads..lol

Well, no kids of my own, but does my class count?

At my school, they really love View-Masters. It's funny b/c when they're sitting there and looking at them, they'll say to each other, "Which one are you watching?", like it's TV. They also really love it when I bring Evel Knievel/Derry Daring to school.

Here at home, the sky's the limit, b/c of my toyroom. The boy I babysit, Zachary loves my AT GIJoes, POTA, SMDM/BW, Big Jims, Evel Knievel. The girl, Niani loves my dolls. Especially the ones that "do stuff". She knows not to touch them, but she loves watching me work them. She also loves my Rock Flower dolls. These were made in 1970, and you put them on stands, put the stands on records, and watch them twirl to their own music. But her fave is my Fisher Price Lapsitter doll named Elizabeth.

My daughter plays with the Megos. My daughter and son both play with the FCs, Hasbro DCs, and Playmates Star Treks.

My son's play is becoming more and more ironic (he's 11), while my daughter is really earnest in her play (even though she sometimes sets them up to do "a musical").

My 10 year old niece loves my old Hot Wheels playsets, I have like 3 of those super chargers and she gets them all going at once.

I also had to start her on her own 80's GI Joe collection to keep her out of mine, she loves the cartoon and the figures ... but she doesn't like the new 25th ann. GI Joes ????

She also like old barbies her mom gave her.

My daughter Lillyth plays with Megos and Megolike toys...

She has Spider-man, Superman, Hulk, two she made her self out of repro parts, and some newer ones like Sig Series Sandman and FC Dr Doom...

Although she has a Tarzan coming for X-mas...Thanks again Cat!!!

I can't get the other kids interested in them though...Damian likes movies and diecast cars...Santford is all about video games and card games...and Jasmine just likes clothes and makeup...
