Want to know how Sheen's character is being written off on Two and Half Men?

Their killing him!! Oh boy I needed a good laugh today and this did it. Gee the writer's aren't feeling just a TAD vindictive over that dispute with Charlie now are they? I guess they wanted to make sure Sheen has no way of "winning". D*mn that's funny. Here's the story...

I'll watch the first episode out of curiosity but I don't see this show working without Charlie Sheen... It was the dysfunctional family dynamic that made this show work... In my opinion the writer cut his nose off to spite his face... But I might be proven wrong.

As far as I can tell the only thing going for that show was that it was just dull enough to be mind numbing and just entertaining enough to keep people from thinking about their problems. Which is fine - it's just not for me.

Yea, it's doomed now. Charlie should do his own HBO show, have Larry David do it and just call it Charlie. With this combo, I guarantee it it would be hilarious.

The last word was that a show based on the Sandler movie "Anger Management" was in the works for Sheen - with him playing the Nicholson roll.

Should have just had him locked up in a mental hospital.

I understand if some don't care for him, and that's cool, but I don't care how nuts he is, I've always like Charlie Sheen & I hope he gets it together.

David is awesome! It wasn't a knock against him - He's extremely open about how much agony and pressure he feels doing a TV show. He left "Seinfeld" several times due to the pressure of coming up with ideas he liked and has even put "Curb" on hold a few times - in some cases leaving cast members wondering if they have a job for the next season.

And Curb's dialog is mainly improvised. I can't really picture him doing another sit-com - let alone one trying to gain a bigger audience then the one he has now.

Going off topic, but I just found this on IMDb's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" trivia page and thought it was pretty cool:

"In 2003 a man named Juan Catalan was arrested for a murder in Los Angeles. He repeatedly professed his innocence and asked to take a lie detector test, a request that the police denied. He also had an alibi: he swore that at the time of the murder he was at Dodger Stadium with his little girl, watching the Dodgers vs. the Braves, but his lawyer was unable to find him in any of the Dodger Vision or FOX footage he subpoenaed. However, he discovered that there was another source of crowd footage in the episode The Car Pool Lane, which had filmed at Dodger Stadium that night. Although Catalan did not make the final cut of the show, his lawyer was able to find him and his daughter in the outtakes, and determined from the timestamps on the tapes that Catalan could not have been the killer. When told that his show had released a wrongfully accused man from prison and a trial that could have led to the death penalty, Larry David commented, "I tell people that I've now done one decent thing in my life, albeit inadvertently."

I feel the same way about him.

Never seen the show...and I don't think this is going to change my mind anyway...basically all the big four networks are dead to me...their only purpose and service to me are the NFL games...and that's it...lol.
