I have been there. Very cool place. I went to the Superman Museum but not the Americana Toy Museum. I don't think it was there when I was years ago.sigpic WANTED: Boxed, Carded and Kresge Carded WGSH -
I stopped there on a road trip this past spring. I loved it! The museum is great. I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, the store mostly sells the kind of toys that would be on clearance at a comic shop, but it is fun stop.My Updated Want List:
Comic book original art
1970s Hulk or Spider-man metal garbage can
Custom Mego Nexus, Grendel

Metropolis is host to the annual Superman Celebration every second weekend in June, celebrating anything and everything about The Man of Steel and superheroes in general. It's a cool event and there is a community of folks who attend it every year who have a site called the "Superfriends of Metropolis". You should check it out. I think a lot of the folks from here would be right at home there, too!sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here!
